USATF Annual Meeting – AAC Application for Travel Funding

Applications are required of those qualified athletes who wish to attend the 2023 USATF Annual Meeting, to be held in Orlando, Florida November 30 – December 3. Travel funding to attend the Annual Meeting will be provided to those athletes that will be serving as an AAC representative to a committee and who are willing to provide support to AAC leadership during the Annual Meeting. Online applications are now being accepted. The link to the application can be found at the bottom of the page. The deadline to submit an application for travel funding is October 9^th.

NOTE: Completion of application does not mean an athlete has been approved for funding. Funding notifications will be sent via email.
 
Due to limited funding available, priority will be given to applicants who meet the following criteria:

• Ten Year/Ten Year + Athlete
• AAC Executive Committee Member and Event Leaders 
• 2023 World Championships Team Member or Medalist
• 2022 World Championship Team Member or Medalist 
• 2021 Tokyo Olympic Team Member or Medalist 
• 2023 Tier Criteria
• AAC Athletes
• Any remaining funding will be allocated to applicants according to the date when their online application was submitted. 

IMPORTANT - In addition to attending AAC general sessions, athletes funded to Annual Meeting will attend committee meetings to represent the interest of athletes. Committee assignments will be based (in part) upon your interest in attending meetings as indicated in your application. For complete descriptions of committee duties, please refer to Regulations 11-16 of the 2023 Governance Manual. Information regarding these will be provided by your AAC Officers and Event Leaders prior to annual meeting.
