Daughter of Herbert Johnson and Clarissa Saunders… Has one sister, Tanzania… Enjoys playing the piano… Named the 2014 Gatorade National Girls Track and Field Athlete of the Year… Set the all-time national high school girls record holder in the shot put… Broke the South Carolina shot put record by 11 feet… Broke the women’s NCAA indoor record in February 2015, recording the longest throw by a female collegian ever, indoor or outdoor… Has been open about her mental health, battling depression and suicidal thoughts since the 2016 Rio Olympics… 2021 USATF Humanitarian Award recipient.
